Behind the scenes at a destination wedding photoshoot in Port Lympne

Evoking all the feelings of a destination wedding at the wonderful Port Lympne, a historic mansion luxury hotel within a reserve with an exotic twist, surrounded by rare species.

When it came to selecting the makeup, I chose warm browns and a gold shimmer for the eye makeup to complement the gorgeous camel-coloured tones used throughout the floral bouquet and the groom's suit. This is a timeless makeup look that also complements all skin tones. I also chose this look because it is so effortless, which complements the hairstyling—a half up, half down style, pulled back but also curled and carefree, perfect for a destination bride.

For the skin, I used the Nars Natural Radiant Long Wear foundation, my go-to for a full-coverage flawless skin finish, with added radiance. I applied layers of setting spray in between to lock this makeup in place, a must for hotter climates.
